This information website forms an Online Newsletter for the asylum-seeking residents of the Eglinton Accommodation Centre in Galway City. It was set up initially as part of the work carried out within the Internet courses organised for the centre's residents by the Outreach section of the Digital Enterprise Research Institute (DERI) at NUI Galway assisted by the HSE's Public Health Nurse and the Health Promotion offices.
The programme of events outlined in this newsletter is compiled by a working committee comprising asylum seekers, representatives of the different Health Services Executive (HSE) departments, SPARK, DERI Outreach & the GRSG.
